Our Story

Uthman (ra) said : "Indeed, the Grave is the first of the hereafter's dwelling, If a person passes through it safely, what follows will be easier; and if he does not pass through it safely, what follows will be more horrible. And I have never seen a dreadful sight but that the grave is even more dreadful". (Tirimidhi, Declared Hasan by Albani)

Aren't we behaving like Son of Nuh (alayhisalam)?

For past few days, I have stumbled upon few verses of Qur'aan on a different occasion either during Qur'aan recitation or multiple times at Taraweeh. The Story is well known that is Nuh (alayhisalam) calling his son to embark the boat when great flood as warned by Allaah is about to happen.

His Son said "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." (Qur'aan 11:43)

But What happened we all know - He drowned

"And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned." (Qur'aan 11:43)

What's the moral of the Story?

Never ignore the Warnings if it is coming from Allah and His Messenger. Son of Nuh (alayhisalam) thought what his father was saying may not happen or not immediately even if he can see clear signs. He clearly ignored the warning. Aren't we doing the Same? :(

How many times are we warned by Allah that we have to prepare for our Death & the life in Grave? We keep receiving these warnings over WhatsApp, Lectures, Emails, Facebook & so on. We keep behaving like Son of Nuh (alayhisalam). Sad part we know, what happened to him.

What Should we do now?

If we have to act upon warning of Death, What we have to do today?

Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There are seven acts whose rewards continue to be recorded for a person while he is in his grave after his death:

  1. Teaching knowledge
  2. Running a stream of water
  3. Digging a well
  4. Planting palm tree
  5. Building a masjid
  6. Leaving a copy of the Quran as inheritance
  7. A Child who seeks forgiveness

(Al Bazzar, Declared Hasan by Albani)

We have to invest in the above 7 projects on a day-to-day basis.

"Wait... I can't afford to build a Masjid even if I have intention" we can hear that well.

What we say is "If you have an intention, then it will happen insha Allah"

The Deeds for My Grave Fund - Now everyone can afford.
